Pros and cons of underfloor heating
Advantages:

Heat is distributed evenly across a room
Discreet and unobtrusive – all heating components hidden under the floor
Releases wall space otherwise taken up by radiators
Quiet to use
Low maintenance
No risk of burning oneself on hot radiators
Individual room temperature control

Disadvantages:
Takes a little while to heat up and cool down and doesn’t respond quickly to temperature changes
Great for new-builds or renovations – not always so easy to install in old buildings
Some limitations on choice of floor finish
